Who’s excited for Microsoft Ignite? We hope you have your hand raised because we sure do. As we gear up for Ignite, there are so many things we are looking forward to. Along with eating an authentic Chicago dog and seeing all of you, we are thoroughly excited for the awesome sessions that are being planned. We have compiled a list of six sessions we are hoping to attend, and we think you would enjoy them too.
1. Microsoft Office 365 Roadmap and Innovations
Is there a better way to kick off the conference than learning where Office 365 is headed? Probably not. Julia White, a general manager at Microsoft, is responsible for product management for Office, SharePoint, Exchange, and Office 365, so there isn’t a better resource than her to learn where Office 365 is going this year.
2. Skype for Business: Understanding Key Factors for Maximizing End-User Adoption and ROI
It’s official, Lync is becoming Skype for Business, which means changes for end users who are familiar and use Lync every day. Understanding how to get your users on board with the change is vital in getting the ROI you were hoping for. This session will give you best practices on how to manage this change, and you may be able to implement some of these skills in other areas that require change management.
3. Beyond Deployment: How IT Can Inspire, Motivate, and Drive Sustainable Adoption
Adoption is no easy feat, and it usually falls on IT’s shoulders to ensure end users are using their software the most effective way possible. In this session you’ll hear use cases and best practices to make sure users are taking advantage of all the tools available to them even after the initial deployment.
4. Embrace the BYOD Revolution: Effectively Manage a Multi-Device, Multi-Generational Workforce
Things are changing in the workforce today, and those that want to succeed will need to find ways to keep up. This session will help you learn ways to manage the shifts happening in the workplace so your organization doesn’t fall behind.
5. Yammer IT Mythbusters
We are huge fans of Yammer around here. So it probably comes as no surprise that this session makes our list. If your organization hasn’t taken advantage of enterprise social yet, you might be missing out on major productivity gains. Attend this session to see why some of the concerns you have about Yammer may be unwarranted.
6.Become a Productivity Ninja: Enter the Productivity Dojo
Everyone wants to be more productive, right? With Microsoft tools at our disposal, we all have the potential to become “Productivity Ninjas.” This session will demonstrate ways that have worked for Microsoft’s own self-proclaimed “Productivity Ninjas.”
These are just a handful of sessions we are looking forward to, but with over 600 sessions to choose from, we’re sure we are missing some other great ones. Which sessions are on your must see list?
In between all of these awesome sessions, don’t forget to stop by and see us in the tradeshow hall. We’ll be right next to the Microsoft Surface area in booth #576.
See you in Chicago!
