Live from the Bleeding Edge of Technology

Live from the Bleeding Edge of Technology

What do you think about when you hear the term "bleeding edge?" For me, I think about staying sharp and in the know. I think about having focus. Being a Stephen Covey fanboy, my mind also goes to ‘sharpening the saw,’ a 7 Habits reference to constantly honing your skills and your craft.

But why care about "bleeding edge?" Just for the sake of living life on the bleeding edge?

For me, it’s much more than that. Rather it has to do with caring about who we are as individuals and our impact in our networks and in our communities. It’s about purpose and living intentionally. It’s about working to craft a career –and a life - that will have value for many other people.

Sometimes, living "bleeding edge" can be daunting. There’s so much to keep up on if we want to stay current and relevant in our industries.

That’s one of the reasons I love working in Product Development at BrainStorm, Inc. I am constantly surrounded by researchers, writers, subject matter experts, and product managers who are also passionate about finding and sharing the latest tips and tricks to help end users excel in their respective fields.

Ours is a simple but ambitious mission: At BrainStorm, Inc., we’re changing the way the world works.

Yeah, I know. Ambitious right? But equally awesome. And something you can’t do without being at least a little "bleeding edge."

So, here we are. 2016 is here, along with new ways to work and increase our productivity. We know because we’ve been hard at work researching the latest features in Office 2016 to keep your workforce working at peak productivity.

Here are a few things you should know about Office 2016:

Built for Teamwork.

It’s built for teamwork. For example, did you know that you can collaborate like never before in Office 2016? It’s true. It’s never been this easy to co-author documents.

It Works for You.

Three words: Smartest. Inbox. Ever. Outlook 2016 is looking out for you by helping you streamline your inbox, by automatically removing low priority email and ensuring that everyone you are writing has access to the documents you care about with something called modern attachments.

In many ways, Office 2016 is getting smarter and learning how to work for you.

Perfect with Windows 10.

Office 2016 and Windows 10 are made for each other. Like bacon and eggs. Many of Office 2016’s features come alive when powered by Windows 10.

Are you ready to leave behind mediocre software use? Ready to step out on the ‘bleeding edge’ and change the way that you work?
