Drip Training

Drip Training

Delivering the right content, in the right way, at the right time.

Training is a process like any other, and with over twenty years of experience, we've learned a thing or two about that process and how people learn. That’s why we have built our training platform, QuickHelp, around the concept of drip training. Not sure what drip training is? No worries. I’m going to walk you through what drip training is and why it makes sense for your end users.

Drip Irrigation:

Let’s talk a little about plants (stay with me, I promise this is going somewhere). Even if you know very little about plant care, you probably know that providing plants with the right amount of water at the right time is critical to their growth.

Drip irrigation, or the process of allowing water to drip slowly onto the roots of plants via a man-made system, does exactly that. What makes drip irrigation so valuable is that, under the right guidance, plants will always receive just the right amount of water to grow healthy and strong.

Drip Marketing:

From the concept of drip irrigation came drip marketing. Based on the “Law of 29”, or the idea that it takes at least 29 touch points for a prospect to become a customer, modern marketers have adopted a similar drip approach to developing prospects. Sending promotional messages over an extended period of time, marketers have become incredibly successful in generating awareness, educating their audience, and making sales.

Drip Training:

Now let's talk about drip training. When it comes to training and learning, the needs of the situation aren't all that different than those of the scenarios outlined above. Learning is a process of change—and to properly affect change at an individual, group, and organizational level, you need long-term solutions to deliver constant nourishment. The chart below shows just how similar these systems are.

Without the right solutions in place, your little seeds of Office 365 potential (aka users) will struggle to grow into mighty productivity powerhouses (aka power users).

At BrainStorm we’ve developed an entire platform around creating productive end users and maximizing software investment that embodies the drip training philosophy. This platform, BrainStorm QuickHelp™, along with our dedicated client success team will deliver the right content, in the right way, at the right time. The results? Happy users, a productive organization, cost savings, and a less-stressed you.

Things to remember:

Drip irrigation, drip marketing, and now drip training all subscribe to the same fundamental principles. These principles are:

  • Nourishment is better delivered in small consumable amounts
  • Greater and sustainable growth is achieved with a long-term focus
  • When they receive nourishment is just as important as what they are receiving
  • Grow more capable users, greater software adoption, and cost savings by drip training your end users with BrainStorm and BrainStorm QuickHelp!
