Opportunity
BrainStorm is currently seeking the services of energetic and high-performance professionals to assist their award-winning product development team. Freelance Technical Writers work directly with product managers and editors to drive the quality and effectiveness of the product side of the business. Responsibilities primarily include:
- Writing and/or editing software training video scripts
- Authoring and DTP print-ready Illustrator files for Quick Start Card products
- Creating classroom curriculum scenarios and practice exercises
- Outlining content, composing, editing and laying out training materials for basic desktop software applications (i.e. Windows, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Qualifications
Providers should be top academic and professional performers with formal writing, editing, or publishing credentials. Only the strongest of candidates will be considered. Familiarity with the Microsoft Manual of Style and Chicago Manual of Style are preferred. Heart and soul is required.
